How are you? Busy?

How many times have you answered the question ‘How are you?’ with this one word – Busy. Fact - time is speeding up. Remember when you were a kid how long it was until your next birthday? An eternity, right? Hands up if in the last few years you have had to write your age on an official document and you’ve realised, with horror, that you are older than you thought? Where did those years go? As time is speeding up, we all have more and more pressures on our ever diminishing, precious time. More and more on our ‘to do’ lists. Especially as we approach this crazy, beautiful Christmas season and the coming new year.

How do we escape all this pressure, restore our sanity, rejuvenate our souls, even if only for a few precious minutes? Our ‘happy place’. It’s where we feel grounded. It’s where peace seeps into our souls. It’s where we recharge our batteries before we step back into the fray.

For some, their happy place may be amongst the trees, watching a glorious sunset, soaking in a bath, in the mountains, sitting with a good book and a glass of wine or, if you’re like me, the ocean.

Back to the Ocean

It’s where I go to breathe, to slow my brain down, to set aside the ‘to do’ lists and to regain my balance. If I had all the time in the world, I would spend hours at the beach each day. But who has that kind of time? This is where art comes in.

I recently wrote how art improves your health and well-being. We could all do with a little better health and more well-being. So, if like me, you don't have time every day for a hike through the forest, a soak in the bath, or a stroll at the beach then try hanging a great piece of art in your space.

Order yours here today.
